A shadow is a hero that works in the shadows of a limelight hero, doing everything they can to ensure that their hero wouldn't die. However what happens when a hero dies and the shadow is left alone? That is something Izuku is facing right now. He was a shadow hero ever after he was abandoned by his mother and then sold of to the American headquarters. They not only trained him and gave him a quirk but also made him be a shadow. An existence that is never written down as alive. Izuku Midoriya may have a quirk now, but he's still just another Deku in a network society views as useless. Or I just discovered the Red Shoe Theory and I absolutely had to write something about it.

Bakugou and Midoriya are the only two quirkless kids in the neighbourhood. Two hero hopefuls that would never be able to make it. At least, that's what they've always thought. Or Midoriya discovers he can pass on quirks, quirk shenanigans ensue

Midoriya is hit with a quirk during his internship, causing him to lose his voice. What they don't know is that in return, he's able to hear the thoughts of those around him, allowing him to discover things about his classmates he was never supposed to know.
