"Promise you won't leave me?" The dark figure asked. It was more like an order. I stared into it's mesmerizing eyes and I couldn't speak or even do anything for that matter. "I promise." I managed to choke out. The figure smiled at me, sadly though. For some reason I couldn't make out its face. Next thing I know I was running. Running away. From something. Or someone. "You lied!" Someone yells behind me. "Just look at you! You're leaving me!" I turned around and saw the figure standing there. Their eyes were swollen shut and it's hands flew up to it's face and wipe the tears away. "But I wasn't the first one to lie! Was I?" I fired back, tears threatening to spill anytime soon.
