Livingston Maeve Rhodes-better known as Livy-spent years believing her life would be short. Cancer rewired her. Made her louder, sharper, and far less patient with bullshit. The day her scans finally come back clean, the world doesn't slow down-it explodes. And in the middle of that chaos, Livy meets Dr. Michael "Robby" Robinavitch, a man held together by caffeine, cynicism, and emotional avoidance. What begins as one reckless night turns into something neither of them planned for. Because Livy didn't survive cancer just to play it safe-and Robby doesn't realize yet that the woman who isn't afraid of dying might be the one thing that finally scares him. A story about survival, gallows humor, chosen family, and what happens when you stop bracing for the end.

Dr. Grace Mercy has never struggled with focus. Not through early graduation, not in med school, not while training as a military officer. Discipline built her. Routine defined her. There was always a next step. Until now. Back in Philadelphia for her sister's first year of college, Grace is trying to relearn something she was never trained for-being a civilian. Normal life feels unfamiliar, too quiet, too unstructured. So when a position opens at a trauma center in Pittsburgh, she takes it. Not to run, but to adjust. To find a rhythm that comes with orders. She expects long hours, chaos, and control. What she doesn't expect... is someone who understands her without explanation. Someone just as sharp, maybe just as guarded-and somehow, the one thing that pulls her off balance. For the first time, Dr. Grace Mercy isn't sure if losing focus is a weakness... or the start of something she never planned for... let's hope they welcome the new Attending with open arms.

Her soulmates have never been Azzy's first priority. It's not like she didn't want to meet them eventually, she saw how her neighbors flourished within their soulmate's presence. Of course she would want that for herself, but between trying to scrape up enough money to get to college, to serving in the military, to piecing herself back together with glitter glue and scotch tape after being honorably discharged, her soulmates could wait. On top of this, working as a paramedic caused an ever-changing schedule, and the various hobbies that her therapist oh so insisted that she should have kept her busy for most of the week. Halfway across the city Robby and Abbot had a consistent rhythm to their life, they've lived together for the last ten years but are still missing something, or someone. What happens when that someone comes running into their ER.

Talia Robinavitch If you were to ask those who work at the Pitt to describe Talia, they would tell you she is pure sunshine and positivity. They would also tell you that you can't get a more caring and gentler nurse anywhere in the world. She is the 20-year-old daughter of the chief attending Michael Robinavitch or more commonly known as Doctor Robby. Not only is she known for her compassion and positivity she is also known for her naivety due to her only being a nurse for about 2 months. Because of this Dana Evans has made sure to take her under her wing and make sure her naivety that naturally comes with a new job at her age does not get her into any dangerous situations. More importantly a situation that may take her spark which is something the medical workers know all too well at the Pitt. Michael Robinavitch describes Talia as the miracle he never knew he needed. Surprisingly Robby is not Talia's Biological father. She was left in the hospital waiting room when she was only 1 month old. Robby who had only been working at the Pitt for five months chose to, at first, look after her for a temporary time until there would be a stable foster home for her. But after time and delays in finding her a home he slowly grew attached and she reminded him of himself when his own mother had left him when he was eight. After 2 months of looking after Little Talia he decided he himself would bring her up as his own and be the parental figure he always wanted growing up.

Andy couldn't stay in DC anymore, not when everywhere she looked she saw him. Neither could she stay in that ER, not when all of her colleagues had seen her have a mental break down. So now she was in Pittsburgh, beginning her life again. Andy had a plan to build a better, more stable and healthy life, only that plan was very quickly hijacked by a closed off veteran with a dry sense of humour and an obsession for his work.
