Elara Solace had grew up in the factory station of the ark. Both of her parents had presumably been floated when she was only a few months old for smuggling valuable items from the ark, leaving Elara with only her parent's trusted friend to tend to her needs. When Elara was fourteen years old she had been imprisoned in the sky box for a crime that she hadn't even committed. Somebody had set her up but she had no idea who this could've been. Somebody had made it appear to look like she had stole valuable items from the ark exactly like how her parents had all them many years ago even though she would have never took such a risk. Now a year later Elara had turned fifteen and was being sent down to earth with the other ninety nine prisoners in order to see if the land was survivable at all. Many of the others seemed terrified to be sent on this mission, meanwhile Elara was overjoyed as it meant she could finally see Earth for herself and no longer have to hear the some old tales that she had been fed as a young child. It wasn't until she was present on the drop-ship that she came across an older girl who she had heard of but never met personally before, Clarke Griffin. At first Elara had been a bit stunned by the blonde and a bit intimidated by the similar features they seemed to share with one another though she kept quiet, not pointing it out or even making small talk with Clarke. Though when they landed on earth Clarke herself had noticed Elara, that's when everything had changed.

Has he been fading away long before his physical disappearance? JJ doesn't know. Jamie grapples with the fear of abandonment, a chilling echo of losing her mom, dad disappearing, and Sam leaving for college. Now, she clings to the hope that Dean, her remaining anchor, won't leave her either. And she tries to bite back the hope that Sam will stay after finding Dad. Sam and Dean try their best to protect her from being left again. Protect her from whatever they may face in doing so. The most important thing to them is her. Making sure she is safe. Unfortunately, they don't know her fate is already embedded into the story.

Statistics. That word means a funny thing to Alba Winslow as she knows almost every single one is out to get her. Forty percent of tributes each year come from community homes, a place where every single child is required to take out the maximum amount of Tessera as a form of payment for the roof over there heads. Where every single child is required to put there name into that bowl that leads to almost certain death as many times as legally possible. The place Alba calls home or at least the closest thing she's ever had to one. On the day of Albas reaping everything changes. Her name is plucked from the bowl like so many unfortunate children before her and she is forced to participate in the games that are punishment for actions committed long before she was even alive. (I hate this description so much *choking emote* I shall be changing it when I can cook up something better)

Tiger Mallory is eight years old. Alone in the walker-infested woods of rural Georgia, with nothing but a knife and a dog, she knows her chances of survival are slim. If her sister was still here, perhaps there would be a little more hope for her, but Jackie is gone, and it's the sort of gone that people don't usually come back from. Not anymore. So, when a little girl comes running through her forest, Tiger decides to chase her. Out of boredom, hope or loneliness, she isn't really sure, but it suddenly gets a whole lot more complicated than just that little girl. Some bitchass cop and his redneck friend are looking for the kid too, and they want to bring Tiger with them. Just for now. Just until they find the girl. And really, who is Tiger to refuse? She's just using them, same way they'll use her. Maybe she'll survive a little longer with Rick Grimes. Hey, maybe she'll even find her sister.

"And it hurts to miss you, but it's worse to know That I'm the reason you won't come home" ~ Butterflies are seldom seen in District Nine, but when they do appear, the residents view it as a good sign. Whispers always spread quickly through the district, suggesting that the butterfly symbolizes joy and signal that change and transformation are forthcoming. However, twelve-year-old Ceres Solace is unaware that when a butterfly lands on her just before her first Reaping, her entire life is about to dramatically change in ways she cannot prevent.

Despite her rocky upbringing, Juniper Dixon strives to be kind to all things, even those who are not kind to her- except for the dead. She didn't really fit in at school or at home, but she supposes that doesn't really matter, now that the dead are walking. All that matters is that she keeps breathing. At least, that's what her dad says. β€’ ⚠️ This book has mature themes such as EDs and abuse, with slight mentions of sa and suicide. They aren't constant and they're not nearly as intense as they are in Future Ghosts, but they are there. ⚠️ If there are any typos/errors, please don't hesitate to point them out so I can fix them! Comments are appreciated! Enjoy!
