An angel with unmeasurable vigour falls from the heavenly kingdom onto the town of Gresit, where the "sleeping soldier" is resting in the murky catacombs. The Church takes this as a sign of God's help and uses the fallen as a relic, nailing the half-dead divine to a cross. What they do not know is that this angel wants nothing to do with the seeming House of God Relationship(s): Adrian Tępęs / Reader, Trevor Belmont/Sypha Benlades Total words: 43, 982 DISCLAIMER: Castlevania video game series belongs to Konami. I am Vendta Belmont, the last, and only, adopted daughter of the Belmont family. Once a statement held of the highest regard, no put me lower than dirt. First the Belmont family got expelled by the church. Then I got expelled by the family. Despite it all, I kept with the ways I knew. Hunting monsters, beast of the dark. Even though no one wants me to. True there is corruption in the many, but I fight for the sincerity in the few. And that enclude killing Dracula. "Crowns topple easily. Thrones crumble like dust. Hearts cease to beat. Thorns draw blood." In a country torn into two, there should have been no room for mistakes. Especially not at the very core of the royal family. That was what she was. Yes, a Lantsov but a witch. Bloodletter. Grisha. In the darkness he longs for the country that had been his home for a great many years. A country that had branded him a heretic, a monster driven by greed, a traitor. Even in hiding, he yearns and yearns. For what, he did not know. But he soon will. A stain of red in an otherwise pristine white cloth. Either cut it out or cut yourself. ▪︎•▪︎•▪︎• The events of this book take place generations prior to Shadow and Bone. A few generations after the Fold was created. (Based on the books from the Grishaverse)

༶•┈┈ ♛ ┈┈•༶ "You really want me to shy away like I used to? Like your little mouse?" I pierce him with every word. The Darkling stares back and for a while the only thing that moves in the room are the shadows. "Alina, you misunderstand me. I have waited centuries for someone like you. Centuries, Alina, alone. I do not need to answer your question. You know what I want." Please don't say it, I think. "I want you to be my Queen, Alina." He pushes off from his chair and I shiver in my seat as he pauses by my side. The Darkling's hands find my chin and he holds my head tenderly with both hands. My power sparks at his touch like fire to kindling and I have to clench a hand in my dress skirt to keep control. He makes sure my gaze is entirely on him when he says, "And you know you will." I shake underneath the pressure of his words and he strokes my chin to calm me. Fine, but he has no idea what he is asking for. I shall be a queen, but not his. And he will regret the day he forced me back at his side like a dog. Aleksander, I think, bow. ༶•┈┈ ♛ ┈┈•༶ It starts with burst of light, like it did in the beginning. Every time a Sun Summoner dies, there is a burst of light. With every flashing death, Alina can feel a strong hum of power return to her. Fearing the loss of her new life, she sets out on a mission to the Little Palace with hopes her old friends could help her. Little does Alina know, a familiar shadow sits on the throne of Grisha. As a whirlwind of events sets her right back on square one, Alina makes a vital decision to change everything. Still, she finds herself teetering in the edge of letting the Darkling and her powers swallow her up. The Sun Summoner has grown and she can no longer be a saint. She has to be a queen. ༶•┈┈ ♛ ┈┈•༶ This is a Grisha trilogy fanfiction that takes place after Ruin and Rising. All rights belong to Leigh Bardugo. VERY SLOW BURN Darklina!

You're used to it all, the shadows, the bloodshed, the screams, you're always by his side after all. They call him The Darkling, but that's not who he is to you. To you he's everything, you worship even the ground he walks on. He calls and you answer. He orders and you obey. The only use you make of your ability to summon the moon is when he says so. To yourself, your ability is useless but still, he keeps you by his side in case you're needed, and you're almost never needed. After all, how can the moon ever compete with the brightness of the sun? Disclaimer! This book is based on the shadow and bone season 1 series that I watched on Netflix and I haven't read the books so this one will be different. It's only based on the characters and casts in the series and they aren't mine.
