Gi-hun x In-ho. why not? it is such a good ship... only if Gi-hun knew who is the frontman.

🍓Watch the show before reading!🍓 Seong Gi-hun a North Korean man decides to join some strange games after losing to a game of ddakji to a "salesman" he met in a train station while going home. Gi-hun joins the games as his life is on the line due to him having a huge debt to pay off but discovers an unspeakable truth as he progresses the games and tries to put an end to them while being there.

Seon Gi-hun. Player 456. The one who won the games himself three years ago, and the one who came back. Ever since he first laid his eyes on him, there was something he couldn't quite name. The conversation they shared before he left, the guilt Gi-hun felt for winning, and oh the hatred he felt toward the Front man himself... Front Man was supposed to hate him if he had to feel something. But it was far from hatred. He noticed he took more interest in him than in the other players. But why? Why did he act this way? And then when Gi-hun cut the chip out of his skin he thought he lost him forever. But then he came back. And so did the feelings. If they even left in the first place... Note: fanfiction is unfinished!

In-ho has been keeping a close eye on Gi-hun for the longest time, and decides to join the games with him to prove his own point, but as the games begin In-house starts to become closer to Gi-hun. Was this all to prove a point, or did In-ho willing want to get closer to Gi-hun, or maybe more.... This fanfic is supposed to be close to canon with a little bit my own elements and additions, this is also a slow burn romance fanfic, hope y'all enjoy!

From what I've seen, there aren't many good English fanfics about Gi-hun and In-ho (aka the Front Man). After watching season 2, it's clear that both characters have the potential for an amazing fanfic. Masked Intentions is set to follow a story where In-ho (the Front Man) actually has a secret fondness for Gi-hun. Torn between his duty to the games and his feelings, In-ho makes a dangerous decision. He decides to go undercover as Player 001. Hidden behind a mask of vulnerability instead of his actual mask, his sole mission is to protect Gi-hun, no matter the cost (even if this means losing his own employees). But the deadly trials of the Squid Game don't make it easy, and the closer In-ho gets to Gi-hun, the harder it becomes to hide his true identity-or his growing attachment.
