After allowing Gwaine to choose the accomidation, Arthur, Merlin and the knights wake up in a strange pit with no doors, no windows and no way out. But the pit is the least of their problems as they begin to realise they are caught up in something much worse, a game where angels are tested to their limits.

This is a Fan-Fiction based upon the BBC series 'Merlin': Merlin is busy as usual working as King Arthur's servant. He rarely gets a good night's sleep, and it's beginning to take its toll on him. The king begins to notice. Love is growing between Arthur and Gwen, which is a joy to some, but a curse to others. Morgana goes all in to prevent Gwen from taking her place as queen beside Arthur on the throne of Camelot. She is prepared to do anything to win and is now more determined than ever to discover who Emrys truly is. Will Merlin be able to keep up appearences and at the same time fulfill his destiny? Will he have enough strength to defeat Morgana? And perhaps most importantly; will Arthur finally learn the truth? It becomes clear to Merlin that he must guard his secret with even greater care - or it might no longer hold. One thing is for sure; everyone is in for a surprise as the story unfolds... Merlin never knew when he had to tag along with Arthur and his five knights that they wouldn't be returning to Camelot any time soon. While out on a hunting trip they travel a little too far and end up falling down a ditch. They wake to find them self's in a mysteries and unknown village. Everything seems to be alright but nothing is what it seems and soon they find out the secrets within the village they have came upon. What will the secret be and once they find out the secret will they be allowed to leave? It's up to Arthur and his five knights to find a way out but Merlin is facing his own problems something is calling to him and making him feel strange. It's only a matter of time before Merlin's secret is revealed too.

Merlin and Arthur. There never was, nor would there be, a pair quite like those two. Arthur, the Once And Future king of Camelot; and Merlin, the greatest sorcerer of all time. Of course, Arthur doesn't know about Merlin, nor does he know about the way Merlin is starting to feel... In the very beginning, Merlin had realized his love for his master, but then his master had realized his love for Morgana's old handmaid, Gwen. Merlin was heartbroken, but got over it, or at least he told himself that he had. Gwen has just been cast out of Camelot, and Merlin is rediscovering his old feelings for Arthur. Now Merlin has a chance, but will Arthur look at Merlin in the way Merlin looks at him? Only time can tell, but there is very little time for such things now. Morgana is plotting up some evil scheme that will kill Merlin, Arthur, the knights, and take over Camelot. With forces aligning behind her, there's a chance that Morgana may even win. As Merlin struggles to show Arthur his love, all of Camelot is in danger of Morgana's powerful magic. So what happens if Camelot falls?

Merlin slowly falls in love with Arthur, and can't take the constant pain of seeing him with Gwen every day. What will happen when Merlin quits his job as servant to the king due to feelings getting in the way?

(Set in present time) Merlin pulled his bulky warm coat around him as the autumn wind whipped around him, slicing through his clothes like daggers. Red and orange leaves littered the ground, staining the green grass in the park. He didn't know why he was at the park at seven o clock in the morning but he woke up in a sweat, terrified from a nightmare he couldn't remember, and had a sudden...urge?... To go to the park.
