Alternate universe where the lion guard doesn't exist. Kion gets mistreated by his older brother as a cub and fights back with anger and hate, then slowly gets manipulated by Zira and the outlanders. Kiara treats him with respect whist Kopa just teases him and make him feel misrable to the point where he snaps and swears revenge apon him. Simba and Nala are worried about history repeating itself just like Mufasa and Scar. Can Kion change his ways or fall into the dark path?

Who is Kion? How did Kion and his friends meet? When did Kion and Rani first met? How did Rani's parents died? How did the Night Pride formed? How did Kion and Rani fall in love with each other? Inspired by BelleT25's The Lion King - Untold but this story happens in the midquel of The Lion King 2: Simba's Pride and The Lion Guard, focusing on stories of Kion and as well the others. I will also adding some new characters (especially the non-canon ones) and songs which some were from outside the Lion King franchise and some lyrics were rewritten for this story. This is what I think should've happened before The Lion Guard: Return of the Roar and during The Lion Guard stories, the untold stories that we didn't know about, the other characters' stories within The Lion Guard stories. Although, some plots of the The Lion Guard episodes were included in some chapters but there can be any alternative details, because this is my version, to make it realistic and to fix any unrealistic logics.

Sometimes Ono can't help but wonder if Kion keeps him on the Lion Guard out of pity. With his eyesight diminished, the former Keenest of Sight begins to question his value. Is he still worthy to be on the Lion Guard, or would it be for the best if he just got lost? But he may be surprised to find he's not the only one who feels this way, and that sometimes, it takes the perspective of a friend to see one's true worth.

Fuli has a crush on Kion. Kion has a crush on Fuli. But they don't know that they like each other. In a desperate situation, Fuli meets a cheetah matchmaker named Fulio. First written in February 2017. A short multi-chapter story of Kion learning about the true meaning of Love during the Upendi Day, a celebrated African festival of love. Follow the young leader of The Lion Guard as he learns what it means to love someone he truly cared about with all his heart and in turn, have them loving him equally back.

When Kion runs away from home, Fuli, and his friends set out to search for him, they eventually give up and let the lion find his own way back. Kion then meets a golden colored lioness cub, about the same age as him, named Kamaria. They both end up being lost in an unknown place, and are stuck together with each other, until they can find their way home. The two hate each other, for a long while and are too paranoid to even be around each other, but soon enough they begin to develop a strong bond with one another, only to realize the two of them are somehow related to each other as the outcome. Will Kion make it back home to the pridelands? And back to Fuli? Find out when you read Season 2, of Unexpecting Love, Stuck Together. A fun adventurous, and entertaining story, filled with romance, friendship, and many twists and turns!
