*Updates most Mondays* Book Two in the Darien Grace Chronicles "I couldn't hear the music. I knew that it was pulsing all around me, I could feel it vibrate through the air, but I couldn't hear it. I hadn't been able to hear it for a while now. I just couldn't. I hadn't set foot near a piano in nearly three weeks. The music didn't matter. What was the point of it anyway? Music was a distraction. Music was a curse."

Hazel I lie down on the wet path, my whole body starting to freeze up little by little. I stare up at the few stars that are scattered across the dark blue sky. The rain falls on my face, drowning my messy hair. I feel the rain drops sliding down my temples, dripping onto my ears and down onto the wet pavement. My eyes are kept locked on the stars above me, one star in particular. I hear faint traffic in the distance, wanting to shut out the world. Every rain drop that is falling out of the clouds and onto my wet body, I feel like I'm tearing apart. That is what happens to paper when it gets wet. It starts to tear, into pieces. And that is what is happening to me. I'm drowning in my own tears and raindrops that I'm tearing into a million pieces. I'm made of paper. I'm a paper doll. (slow updates)

Michael is looking for a new start and a way to manage his anger issues when he moves back to Sydney, leaving his mum behind, and moves in with his former best friend, Ashton. Unfortunately, Michael finds that starting over is much more difficult than he expects; Michael doesn't expect that there'd be a boy so timid Michael can't even raise his voice around him, and Michael certainly doesn't expect to care. But he does care, and if Michael doesn't learn to control his anger soon, Luke Hemmings might slip away--and Michael can't let that happen. Highest rank: Fanfiction #19
