𝐇𝐚𝐥𝐟-𝐏𝐢𝐩𝐞𝐬 & 𝐇𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠𝐬: 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐉𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐨𝐟 𝐄𝐝𝐚𝐥𝐲𝐧 𝐂𝐥𝐚𝐰𝐭𝐡𝐨𝐫𝐧𝐞 Seventeen-year-old Edalyn Clawthorne would rather be skating down a half-pipe or jamming on her guitar than writing in a journal-but after Raine moved away, it's the only way she knows how to stay sane. Eda's life is a whirlwind of scraped knees, loud music, and paint-streaked fingers. With her grunge style, messy orange hair, and permanent black nail polish, she doesn't exactly blend in-but she's never cared much about that. Her older sister Lilith is her built-in brainy best friend, and Darius-dramatic, stylish, loyal Darius-has been with her through every high and low. But nothing stung more than the day Raine Whispers, her quiet, book-loving, tea-sipping best friend of five years, had to move away. Raine, who could play any instrument but couldn't perform in front of more than three people without shaking. Raine, who balanced Eda's chaos like no one else ever could. Through journal entries filled with raw honesty, late-night doodles, confessions, rage, and memories that hit like guitar feedback, Eda tries to make sense of growing up, growing apart, and the feelings she's never really been able to name. Because sometimes, the silence someone leaves behind is louder than the noise you fill it with.

Raine and Eda's love story was built over ten years-an unbreakable bond forged through laughter, passion, and shared dreams. But when tragedy struck and Eda's world unraveled, the cracks in their relationship began to show. Grief, alcohol, and self-destruction led them down a path where love alone wasn't enough to hold them together. After a heartbreaking breakup, Raine left, and Eda, lost in the aftermath, spiraled further. But time has a way of healing even the deepest wounds. Three years later, sober and starting new, Eda unknowingly moves to the same city where Raine has been rebuilding their life. When they cross paths again, it's like no time has passed. The love between them is still there-untouched, unchanged. But the past still lingers, heavy in the air. Can they pick up the pieces of what they once had, or will the scars of their past keep them from moving forward? "Where We Fell" is a story about love's resilience, second chances, and the courage it takes to heal from the past, even when it feels like it's too late.

In the heart of the Boiling Isles, Raine Whispers is a teenager learning to navigate the complexities of self-identity, family, and love. As a non-binary individual, they struggle with body dysmorphia and the challenge of being understood by those closest to them, including their supportive but imperfect parents. When Raine meets Edalyn (Eda) Clawthorne, a rebellious and sarcastic girl with her own baggage, an unexpected and deep connection begins to form. As their relationship blossoms, the two teens help each other navigate their respective struggles, from Eda's troubled relationship with her mother to Raine's journey of self-acceptance. Through laughter, heartbreak, and a few chaotic school days, their bond grows stronger, but it's not without its obstacles. Together, they learn that love isn't always easy, but it's worth fighting for. With a balance of lighthearted moments and emotional depth, this coming-of-age story explores themes of mental health, self-discovery, and the power of friendship and love. Through the highs and lows, Raine and Eda prove that with support, even the most difficult of journeys can lead to something beautiful.

Eda Clawthorne and Raine Whispers used to be everything to each other-until they weren't. Breaking up was supposed to be the right choice. They were young, reckless, and nowhere near ready for something real. Now, in college, they've mastered the art of avoiding their feelings (and each other)...or at least, they thought they had. When a late-night reunion, a shared dorm, and way too much unresolved tension bring them crashing back together, Eda and Raine find themselves caught in a messy, slow-burning game of flirting, sneaking around, and pretending they're not still in love. But the truth? They never stopped. Now, between sarcastic best friends, meddling roommates, and stolen moments behind closed doors, they're forced to face the question they've been running from for years- What if they were always meant to be?

The Boiling Isles had always been a place of magic and mystery, but now, something felt different. Deep within its heart, a long-forgotten prophecy was stirring-one that spoke of a great power, one that could either save or destroy everything. Luz Noceda, a human who had found her place in this strange world, was at the center of it all. What had started as an adventure to find magic and friends had become a fight for the Isles' future. She had learned to control her newfound powers, but the prophecy was something she didn't fully understand. Hunter, once an enemy, had warned her about the darkness to come, but Luz knew one thing: she couldn't face it alone. The fate of the Boiling Isles rested in her hands, and the choices she made would shape the world's future. One thing was clear-whether the prophecy was a curse or a blessing, Luz would be the one to decide.

"Why do we have to pretend when all of this can be real, Eda?" they whispered in her ear, Raine's hot breath felt on her pale skin while they slide their fingers in between the strands of her orange hair. They forced a smile and clutched her close. "Oh, Raine..." Eda sighed shakily, burying her whole face on the space of their neck with her pointy chin resting on their firm shoulder. "You don't know how much I want all of this to be real." - Modern AU Relationships were never easy. Eda and Raine both knew that, causing them to split up two years ago after a ten-year relationship. But now that they're both in their thirties working on their jobs in the big cities of New York, they somehow reunite when old friends and classmates had set up a reunion at a restaurant. This story may contain swearing and other slightly matured related themes. I only own the storyline of this book. Characters rightfully belong to Dana Terrace.
