Scarlett Jones' greatest ambition has always been to go to college and become a writer. But coming from a family who struggles economically, can put a few obstacles in the way of making her dreams come true. A scholarship-that is offered only your senior year of high school- requires her to show them a reported story about something major in their school. And what isn't bigger than their school's all star quarterback, Austin Moore? Writing this kind of story doesn't come easy, though. Austin comes from one of the most wealthiest families in their town and isn't ashamed to flaunt it. He's snobby, selfish, and self absorbed. Scarlett doesn't let that get in her way, though. The more she pushes to get a story out of him, she just might discover feelings for him that she has never felt for anyone else before. But, will Austin feel the same way? Will he finally get off of his almighty Trojan horse for her? Or will he continue to treat her the same way he has always treated people like her?

Everly Coleman starts freshman year with three very simple goals: Pass psychology. Make friends. Don't lose her mind sharing a dorm with a random guy. Then Jackson Bennett walks in. Jackson's annoyingly good at football, fully aware of it too, and somehow treats getting on Everly's nerves like it's a competitive sport. He steals her snacks, teases her constantly, and keeps acting like barging into her life is completely normal. Which would already be bad enough on its own. Unfortunately, Everly's older brother Logan absolutely hates him. Now Everly's dealing with football practices, dorm room arguments over popcorn, late-night conversations that are becoming a little too personal, and an entire football team way too invested in her love life. It's fine. Probably.

I hear Axels voice from behind me as i exit the class. "That was Joseph." I say not turning around to face him. "I've known you longer than he has how the hell does he get your number before i do." I must be crazy because he sounds jealous. "Well because he asked for it. Have you?" I stop in my tracks and turn to face him. "Can I have your number?" He asks and i smile. "No." I turn around and walk away going to my next class.

After years in the army, silence is the only thing that helps him sleep. Then the baby starts crying every night. At first, Mason is irritated. Chloe is terrified of him. Penelope is the girl everyone at school made fun of because of her weight. She always thought no guy would ever give her a second look until him. Aarons the type of guy you would only be seen with popular girls. Until she caught his eyes. ___________________________________________ I'm being woken up by someone climbing into my bed. "What the hell?" I see Aaron trying to get under my sheets. "Aaron what are you doing get out." "I like being with you." He slurs and that's when I smell the alcohol. I lay back down and he snuggles into my sheets facing me. "Why are you here?" I whisper. "It hurt me to see you cry." I just stare at him confused. He has his eyes closed and I just stare at him. "Emma is a bitch." I let out a small giggle. "Then why do you hang out with her?" "Good fuck." I just nod. I don't really like hearing him say that. Do I like Aaron? I mean he's attractive but I know he would never give me a second look. Who would? "Your so beautiful." I hear him whisper, I instantly open my eyes thinking I imagined him saying that. "Who?" I ask. "You." I feel butterflies in my stomach. I've never been called beautiful by a guy before.

I've hated Zackary Woods since the day I met him. He walked into my parents' kitchen like he owned it-laughing with my brother Hayden, throwing that perfect smile around like it was currency. And everyone ate it up. Everyone except me. From day one, it was war. Zack gets under my skin like no one else can. He's arrogant, annoyingly attractive, and so full of himself it's a miracle he doesn't float off campus. We've competed over everything-from who could run faster at a family barbecue to who got the higher score on Econ 101's midterm. He's the all-star quarterback, the walking cliché of a college heartthrob, and I'm the girl who sees right through him. Or at least, I thought I did. Then came that stupid group project. Just one semester, I told myself. Just tolerate him long enough to get through it. But tension and hatred have a funny way of blurring lines when you're alone in a room with him after midnight and he's looking at you like you're not just Hayden's little sister anymore. One mistake. That's all it was supposed to be. But now we've got this... thing. A truce. A secret. Friends with benefits, we said. No feelings. No strings. Keep it clean and casual. But nothing about Zack Woods has ever been clean or casual-not with me. And the worst part? I don't know when I stopped hating him. I just know I don't want to stop.
