Book 4 of The Alpha Series! Cannot be read as a standalone book! Highest rank: #1 in Werewolf genre on 06/11/2019! Amelia Reid and Ivan Romanov were once childhood friends that would see each other every summer. But that all changes when Ivan stops visiting. A few years later, they meet again. But this time, they don't see each other as friends. Join Amelia's journey as she tries to peel back the many layers of Ivan Romanov while finding her place in a completely different world. *** "They show what you've been through, and I think that's beautiful." I whisper back, running my fingers through his hair. "Hell, you're ten times stronger than I could ever be." In an instant, he turns around to lay on his back with me straddling his waist. I blush at the position, his hand caressing my heated cheek adoringly. His emerald gems hold an array of emotions, flickering across too quickly for me to catch and decipher. So, I choose to admire him instead. I meant what I said. Ivan is so breathtakingly handsome that it hurts sometimes. His midnight black hair is always tousled sexily, eyes bright and alert, there's two freckles by his right brow and one by his chin. His lips are full and most of the time they're either in a frown or a straight line, but I manage to catch several small smiles throughout the day. He's quite muscular but whenever he holds me I feel safe and protected, as if I'm in a soft cocoon. "You don't need to be strong." His low murmur snaps me out of my trance. "You have me, I'll always protect you." "You protect me from the world and I'll protect you from yourself, deal?" I smile softly when he laughs, nodding in agreement. Book 1 of The Alpha Series. Highest Rank: #2 in Werewolf. He growled darkly, making me uneasy at the sound. A weak whimper escaped my lips when he slammed his hands on the wall behind me and leaned closer to my face. "If I have to tie you to the f*cking bed I will do just that but you are never leaving me." "V-Vulcan...let m-me g-go." I croaked, my throat suddenly becoming dry at the look he was giving me. It was almost like he was ready to pounce and devour me whole but instead, he chose to drag it out and make me sweat, he wanted to play a game that had me running for the hills in the end. My back arched when he rained kisses down my neck, paying close attention to an area which had me aching for more. His lips peppered the area where my neck meets my shoulder, biting and sucking as if marking his territory. He dipped low and pressed his lips to my cheek in a gentle manner; one that had me closing my eyes and savoring the moment. His husky, deep voice that always made me shiver in pleasure cut through the thick air like a knife, warm breath blowing onto my ear as he uttered a sentence that I knew was full of promises and underlying threats of consequences should I choose to disobey. "You will not leave me. Not today...nor tomorrow...never." __________________________________________________ Vulcan Romanov has a secret. One so deadly, it could cost him his life. They all are powerful. And one force lurks in the shadows unbeknownst to everyone. Will they work together despite their clear differences or will they all fall apart? AN: Yes their is LGBTQ+ in this story so reader's beware. It is also not the main focus but in enough light that if you don't like it don't comment about it or read it for that mater. I'm a writer and I write what I think would make a good story and feel good to write about. I will say this, I'm not vary good at spelling or grammar but I do my best. I can say one thing! I can make one hell of a story when I put my mind two it! (Even if that story has mistakes and needs many more rereads for corrections, add-ons, and take outs.) Reviews are appreciated. If you like one part or dislike another give some feed back. I just don't appreciate haters. Feed back is not hate! It is what you think could do better or if something is good just the way it is. Have a nice read ~Jewels Wolf
