There are 3 people that Ariadne Archeron cares about in the world, Feyre, Elain, and her twin sister Nesta. As the oldest of the sisters, Ariadne and Nesta have both always been the protectors. Though Ariadne was also the dreamer. Always looking for the best in people and looking around starry eyed at everything. Nesta is her best friend in the world and both sisters would burn the world to the ground for each other. When the Archeron's lose their fortune, Ariadne helps Feyre hunt, teaches Nesta how to set traps for smaller animals, and tries to get Elain to grow vegetables in her garden. When a faerie breaks down their front door, Ariadne has a single thought. Protect her sisters. She volunteers to take Feyre's place and go to Pythian with the faerie, Tamlin. When Feyre agrees to go with Tamlin, Ariadne immediately goes with her. As they spend more time in Pythian, Ariadne becomes close friends with Lucien and remains wary of Tamlin. She notices the way that Feyre's glares at Tamlin slowly begin softening and Ariadne knows that her sister is slowly but surely falling for the High Lord. When Tamlin sends them back to the mortal world, Ariadne feels a pull towards the faerie realm and confides in Nesta. Her twin understands and encourages her to go back. Ariadne promises to return when she can and returns to Prythian with Feyre. Now, they must face an opponent that they know nothing about to save the world that they have begun to call home.
