Bethany Clearwater is the 2nd child of Harry and Sue Clearwater. She is the older sister to Seth Clearwater and younger sister to Leah Clearwater. Due to an opportunity to study at some elite school, at the age of 12, Bethany moved out of La Push, Washington and to New York with her mother. When she was 15, she had to go through her change, alone. She and Sue had informed the tribe of her change and they had accepted her into the pack. The elite school had gotten an online program meaning that Bethany and Sue could move back to La Push!
