Life after death was something that Gerard Way never believed in. He quickly learns that life after life is even weirder. When waking up at a car crash scene in Las Vegas with his memories gone, his first instinct is to seek out his brother who has turned his life around in the starlit city - but he's been thrown about five years into a very unusual future. Local psychic Brendon Urie has a bone to pick with the ghost who's been haunting him, armed with a shotgun and some serious anger issues. It all comes back to Frank who's out on the strip trying to reconnect. But there's a problem: nobody can see him unless they've seen death. It just so happens that Gerard's familiar with the term. Sequel to 'BEFORE KILLING WAS COOL'.

Frank Iero reckons there are a hell of a lot of people he'd do away with in a school shooting. He has a vivid imagination and what he finds to be a pretty reasonable vendetta. But when his plans are put into action, he finds himself in possession of a hostage; a boy called Gerard Way. In the aftermath of the crime, Gerard's brother Mikey struggles. With his life now in pieces, Pete Wentz steps in, harbouring bad influence and a shred of hope he quickly clings to, and secrets that could change their lives forever. The unholy union of a high school AU and a ghost story. Gerard's life takes a strange turn when his family moves to a small town in Vermont and he discovers the locals aren't all what they seem to be. Also includes: unexpected nature walks, murder, pining, improper treatment of crime scenes, a number of bone-related puns, high school bullies, and a short-range shrub named Ferdinand. First: some extra warnings - This contains violence, homophobia, character death (but the character's still there--there's a fair amount of delving into the subject of death and dying, though, so be aware of that.) There's also some bizarre supernatural sex, but no necrophilia. Just putting that out there now, in case anyone was worried. NO NECROPHILIA. It also could be argued that there's a pretty big age disparity. (DISCLAIMER) This is not my story I just liked it so I posted it here. Credit goes to novembersmith on Archive Of Our Own.
