You would say that her two mentors, Mags Flanegan and Finnick Odair, guided her to victory, but she had done it all on her own. She wouldn't have survived without her brain, as well as her skills with weapons. Finnick Odair is cocky and attractive, and that's what scares Emmeline. They never had any conflicts, but they also had few interactions with one another throughout mentoring, school, and being neighbors.
