I'm the all A's hockey superstar, I can't afford to get distracted by the guy I could argue hardly cares about his hockey career going anywhere. Wyatt: Hockey is what I've been spending my whole life trying to be the best at. I wanted to get into a good college, with a good hockey program. I got that. Now my goal is to get drafted by a good team in the NHL. I can't have my eyes straying. Yet they do, and they catch on the worst person possible. Caden: I never put much effort into being good at hockey. I just am. As a left wing for my college hockey team, I get into a lot of fights on the ice. Ok, and maybe off of it too. I choose to not care what anyone thinks, and that infuriates a lot of people. Mainly Wyatt. Although Wyatt and Caden might come to blows, often with fists, it'll be their hearts that take the Hardest Hit.

And in that moment, I realized something that I've always known deep down in my heart. I finally understand why my eyes would always cling to him in a room, why my mood would always lighten up whenever he was around, why my world brightened up when I met him- why the sun shined brighter, trees and grass were greener, flowers smelled better. Why he makes my world more beautiful simply by existing in it. It's because I'm in love with him. The type of love that you never knew existed until you finally experience it yourself, the type of love that's hard to put into words because it's a love you've never had for anyone else. And never will. - JAMISON MACK ... And in which, Jamison Mack drunkly kisses his very much in love bestfriend, Hayden Zhang. Shouldn't be much of a problem, they both agree to forget about it. It was a drunken mistake. Nothing more, nothing less. One problem, neither of them can stop thinking about it. What could go wrong? Or in simpler words, a chaotic bisexual pro basketball player who's in love with his playboy footballer bestfriend. highest rankings #1 - interracialbxb #1 - maybesmut #1 - collegebasketball #2 - collegefootball #2 - interracialbxb #3 - lgbtq #3 - interracialbxb #7 - gayromance #13 - interracialbxb

"One of my favorite tropes is someone who believes they're hard to love and someone who loves them like it's breathing." TW: Mentions of suicide and abuse Forest Gray is what everyone would describe as a golden boy; perfect grades, the star of the football team, and a damn good friend. He is rich and good looking; he has it all. Except the one thing he's wanted his whole life, his parents love and acceptance. They are never home, yet they hold a protective barrier around him no matter what. They even own the school he goes to. Forest is to do and be who they say, and he's never been one to disobey or displease anyone, except for when he falls in love with the one boy who's able to break his parents spell. Atlas Hart is different from most people, because most people don't skip school and disappear for days or even weeks at a time. But most people don't have his intense emotions and outbursts of anger, or a broken family, or looked at as the outcast of the school. When Forest meets Atlas, he can't believe he's never noticed someone so perfect for him, and Atlas just can't believe someone like Forest is even talking to him. They fall helplessly in love, creating a bump in the plan Forest's parents laid out for his life before he was even born. Follows the struggles of falling in love with someone you're not supposed to and coming to terms with it while facing obstacles like family and friendship complications in which the characters have to overcome.

Though he desperately refuses the conformities of modern novel tropes, George acknowledges he's just the same as every book character. A side character that is. Studying his way into writing a hit novel George has to master the ups and downs of his college life, overprotective roommate, and the friends with benefits he has going on with his best friend. Only problem is the line of feelings had been blurred years ago, and Dream's future lies between a pretty blondes watermelon flavored lips. Will George be able to skate past the due dates of writing or will he fall victim to the hockey captain once more? *** His brows furrow a bit but he seems to keep his cool when he asks, "can I still kiss you?" And what else am I supposed to say to that? *** This is a mature book. Check the TW in the first chapter <3

Logan Klicker, a backup goaltender in the NHL, is traded teams shortly after coming out as a rare gay professional athlete. Alone in a new city, in a new team, and trying to navigate being out, he meets his blunt neighbor, Kane Jenkins. Kane Jenkins usually doesn't filter himself, which he applies to his journalism. He has never been a sports guy, so having a professional hockey player as a neighbor is fun. After an incident involving a fat cat, enchiladas, and kindness, the two get close. Follow Logan and Kane as they develop themselves, their relationship, and a call out to the toxic culture of sports when it comes to queer players.
