In this fan-made prequel to Transformers: Prime and my fan-made sequels to it, comes the origin story of Optimus Prime as he started out as a clerk named, Orion Pax, and how he wanted to set things right the prevent horrible disasters for the betterment of Cybertron and when he became best friends with former miner and gladiator, Megatronus, and fell in love with Ariel, he would later be chosen to become the Last of the Primes and the great leader of the Autobots while Megatronus goes down a dark path to where he became the tyrannical leader of the Decepticons after Orion Pax betrayed his trust at the Council and their brotherhood broke apart.

Transformers: Exodus is a novel written by Alex Irvine, which tells the story of the relationship between Orion Pax and Megatron long before the war broke out in Cybertron.
