Part 3 of the Little Lamb Series: The first seal has been opened: Following the attempted arrest of Joseph Seed, the young deputy Nayeli Lamb finds herself in the middle of an all-out Holy War between the residents of Hope County and the Project at Eden's Gate. With the rest of the Sherrif's department MIA, Nayeli strikes up alliances with those who would stand against Joseph Seed and his "Children" and in turn, find her missing surrogate family. As for the Project at Eden's Gate, infighting threatens to undo all they have worked for as each Seed has their own conflicting obsession with the young Lamb. To complicate matters more, the Little Lamb begins to realize that her feelings for one enemy could spell doom for herself and her allies. Can Nayeli stop the Project or will her actions lead to Hope County's undoing?

Lilith Whitehorse believes that she is just some ordinary girl living in Hope County, Montana. Continued to believe so when the cult known as the Project at Eden's Gate rolled into town. However, she didn't realize it, but she became not only the most interesting person in the eyes of the cult. She also got herself in the heart of their leader, Joseph Seed. Now, as she becomes the de facto leader of The Resistance and tries to take down the cult, will she go achieve what she wants to achieve? Leandra 'Andi' Stoddart - Hope County hometown girl, grew into the woman every man wanted to be with and women envied and wanted to be. She didn't feel too special - not too different from the girls of Hope County. Everyone seemed to bleed red, white and blue. Most girls knew hunting, fishing, trapping - all the things a good Pa would show his baby girl to keep her safe in this unforgiving terrain. The arrival of the Seed family brought a new path to supposed salvation for the people of Hope County. Though the first few years were peaceful, things began shifting over the last few years, and with it came unforgivable pain they inflicted on the region and its people.
