This is a fan of of Link, the Hero of Time, and Malon. It is written in Malon's pov almost exclusively. It centers around friendship, trauma, maturity and eventually true and lasting connection. Link struggles with having such an older soul in a child's body, keeping the adult experiences in OoT mostly to himself and how his trip to Termina broke his mind a little (didn't we all break from MM a little?) Now after all these years later the two families have been raising the Opposite people's child. Whereas Kagome praying that no one ever finds out about what she did, even though her husband Inuyasha had doubts, and sometimes was very superstitious about this, but how could he ever doubt it he loved his daughter regardless, so he accepted either way. But not nearly as bad as the King who worried that Moroha was actually not his child and accused his wife constantly of having an affair. one time and time again she reminds him she never cheated on him. But then the truth comes out Upon 11 years later the two families were about to meet. where all the secrets were about to be released that both Moroha and Rini were both switched in the hospital. Switched at birth.
