It would be a blessing in disguise, she thought, feeling hollow with dread and perplexity, an unforeseen, gracious and forgiving departure from life in preference of a prolonged one. And she sat leaned back against the cold wall and closed her eyes.
Whatever her reasons, Daniele Lucania seemed to have withdrawn her support to her own existence. Her stomach churned but she could no longer feel herself and the outer world. She could hear her heartbeat pounding in her ears. She held herself tight and wept alone, for there was no one to hold tight to, for one thing Daniele Lucania now was clearly aware of, was that she did not want to survive this pain.
Then with a strange fear in her eyes, she flinched, "What about that one last opportunity the creator holds out to me?" She asked herself in a voice audible only to her own ears as her face convoluted in torment.
"I offer an end of this impasse in exchange for nothing for my disgraced life, but I can still surprise my dead in their graves, to proffer them some solace." As Daniele Lucania raised her head, her eyes were lit with a strange determination.
