Natasha Romanoff is a monster. She doesn't love, she doesn't care. She doesn't let herself feel anything. She simply avoids mirrors like the plague to avoid seeing a plain reflection of the awfulness of her past. Because that's who she's become. Redemption is just a cover. All she can do is manipulate her own feelings to feel like, maybe, she might belong here in S.H.I.E.L.D.. And as she struggles to make sense of her own twisted life and actions, Natasha would be damned to meet someone whose entire being reflects her own. Except that someone is a seven year old girl, and she's so much worse than anything she could have imagined.

α₯«α‘ Κšβ‹† πœ—πœš β‹†Ιž α₯«α‘ Liliana "Lilia" Dolohov is the Red Room's greatest secret-and its only true success. Created from the genetic material of Natasha Romanoff and James Buchanan Barnes, she was engineered to be the perfect weapon: precise, unbreakable, and lethal. From childhood, her life was shaped by brutal experiments, relentless combat training, and layers of brainwashing meant to erase every trace of individuality. But in Lilia, something unexpected survived. Alongside her sharpened instincts and flawless execution came a love for ballet. What the Red Room used as a tool for balance, grace, and disguise became her quiet refuge, the one place where she felt human. Every movement on stage mirrored her duality-elegant yet deadly, fragile yet unyielding. To her handlers, she was cold and calculating, a flawless assassin. To herself, she was something more: a weapon forged in blood who carried within her the discipline of a soldier and the soul of a dancer. James Barnes was sixteen years old when his baby sister came into the world, pink and wrinkly and screaming her little head off. And James? James was unimpressed. She was tiny-too tiny. Her hands were no bigger than his thumb, her head barely covered in a fuzz of dark hair. She cried constantly, made Ma exhausted, and stole all the attention in the apartment. And worse? She was completely useless. Couldn't walk, couldn't talk, couldn't even hold her own head up or go get groceries. He had brothers. Brothers he could roughhouse with and throw punches at. This? This little thing wasn't a sibling-she was a baby. And yet, despite all his grumbling, he still found himself staring at her when nobody was looking.
