But it has no important meaning. At least until he meets Charlie. Charlie is a passionate drummer. Together with his friends Sahar, Aleena and Jay, he has a band called "Queer Intentions". Between loud rehearsals and quiet moments, a connection grows that doesn't need a word. But the closer they get, the more Nick has to ask himself what happens when you suddenly fall out of rythm, and perhaps really listen for the first time. ~All the rights for the character go to Alice Oseman who created them. This is a story about Y/n Nelson. The cousin of Nick. She comes to life with him, after things happening no one really knows about. She meets Tori, a person who doesn't smile much or is really nice to people... normally. This story shows Nick and Charlie as they navigate the ups and downs of after hospital care, followed by the challenges of adulthood and parenthood. As they confront both physical and mental health obstacles, their love is put to the ultimate test. Will they emerge stronger together or will their struggles tear them apart?

Charlie starts to struggle again but finds it hard to tell people. Charlie starts to distance himself from those he loves but especially from Nick. When Nick notices he trys to solve charlies problems making him angry. Resulting in bigger problems between the 2. TW:Eating disorders, relapsing, self-harming, suicide thoughts and curse words.

Nick stayed in Leeds when he left uni and got into the wrong crowd, losing himself along the way. When he meets Charlie, everything changes... (drug references, violence, drama, smut and fluff)

Nick's off to university and Charlie can't help but still worries. What if Nick finds someone better? What if our relationship isn't strong enough to do this long-distance-thing? On top of that, Tori is now going to university in Scotland and he can't even get a hug from her. Charlie starts distancing from his friends. But he'd never tell Nick that he gets bad again.
