While at his cousin Dains, Thorin finds a Broken witch in his dungeons. She tells him that he needs her for his journey to be successful. She joins the company, adding perils and defeating some, all while trying to cling to her own sanity.

When the Dwarves show up in Bag End, Bilbo Baggins and his daughter Belle are furious. The mud trod into the mat, the disgusting smell of passing gas, and rude manners are enough to drive any Hobbit crazy, but what if you knew your daughter had some feelings for a certain Dwarf...?
