Humanity has fallen before the Anthro races. Twenty years of war has reduced the human population to drastically low numbers, severe enough to warrant the Anthro races to "reposition" their stance on humanity despite an almost fanatical unwillingness to surrender. A war for extermination turns into a rescue mission overnight. Enter Sako Squad, comprised of six highly trained spec-ops soldiers for the Anthro Military. They have been tasked to locate and capture a famous and notorious human resistance fighter only known by the alias of "Swan." They can locate him, but will they be able to endure the future and everything it will bring when they take him in?

I lay there, staring up into the sky, wondering what had just happened. I had died. Or at least, I thought I died. Synopsis: A 34 year old soldier Simo Shephard dies while in active combat, yet instead of waking up at the pearly gates, he wakes up in a different kind of hell. Read as he survives in a world of animal hybrids known as chimeras, and as he tries his best to aid humanity as they dwindle ever closer to a silent extinction. Will he succeed in making a foothold for humanity? Will he change the tyrannical ways of the world? Or will he fail, leaving the fate of humanity to the chimeras. Michael also known as "Wolf" (because of a patch he wears on his kit and helmet) is a member of what was the 75th Ranger Regiment. He finds himself a veteran of a war between humanity and anthros. While he doesn't exactly hate them he doesn't exactly trust them either despite their efforts to rebuild the relationship between species. Unfortunately a good chunk of humanity and anthro kind was wiped out due to the war. But due to the anthros ability to reproduce faster they were able to recover much faster leaving humanity at a loss. Michael finds himself alone and on the run from a one of the most dangerous anthro militaries (at least to humans), known as the Obsidian Front. They continue to hunt down and kill humans forces despite the end to the war, causing proxy wars and often large scale skirmishes between them and remaining human militias.

This story will be taking a lot of inspiration from a movie called (Come and see) It is a brutal and horrific war movie. I do not recommend it if you are faint of heart.
