In which a girl desperately searches for the Other City

The Earth has failed. There's been an apocalypse through stupid government decisions and there needed to be action. A giant, plastic dome was built to fly a small part of the Earth's population out into the solar system. Soon afterwards, the craft crashed back to Earth because of gravity problems and another dome was built, this time a larger craft to escape this solar system and go through a wormhole to enter another solar system. However, the crew has to deal with a lurking evil presence aboard the craft, which manages to lure pirates from Earth to the craft. The pirates motive, PyroStellar, the burning of stars.
