This is a dobsley story. You might recognize the first little part from the movie The fault in our stars.

Elena left Stefan for Americia she loved him, but Stefan had made a mistake and she couldn't deal with that. When Elena starts at a new collage a year later she finds the last person she had thought would be there, Stefan.

After Damon's death Elena didn't think she could get over it, but Stefen comes back to town and helps Elena get back to her normal self. Spending time with Stefen was the best time she had in long time, after awhile Elena begins to develop feelings for Stefen again. Then she finds out that Damon is back. Will she stay with Stefen or go back to Damon once again?
