Riley had always felt like a place holder once her dad married her stepmother. Someone they tolerated until they had their own kids. Having his best friend with him might just make packing everything and moving his whole life more bearable. *********************************************** The thing about vampires is that they can feel who the core members of their pack are. Some of them (like Max) ignore that and turn people despite them not being core members. If David could decide he would never have turned Star and Laddie. He only did it because Max ordered him to. Now however, he's been given orders to turn two more kids. These two the boys don't mind. Because Riley and Michael are their missing core members.
