Bellamy ain't ask for the name Blick, but once Miami saw what he could do with fire in his hand, his real name stopped mattering to everybody but the people closest to him. On the outside, Blick is quiet, feared, respected, and untouchable, the type of man folks lower their voice around before he even steps in the room. But nobody knows that underneath all that control is a secret from middle school that still sits on his chest like a loaded gun, waiting on the wrong person to pull the trigger. Nasir Brooks is spoiled, pretty, reckless, and mouthy enough to make anybody lose their mind, but Blick is the first person who refuses to let him run wild just because he's cute. Nasir hates that Blick can check him with one look, and Blick hates how fast that bratty boy starts getting under his skin, but the deeper they fall, the closer Bellamy's past gets to dragging him back under. Because Nasir loves loud, jealous, and without shame, but Bellamy knows love can switch up real quick when the truth finally steps into the room.

The Next Bloods. D'mier, Naezon, and Kaizen. Three cousins, three problems, and somehow every time they're together chaos follows. Everybody knows their names, and not for good reasons. From shoot outs, suspensions, stealing, gangbanging and reckless decisions to bringing trouble wherever they go, the boys have spent years doing whatever they want and dealing with the consequences later. D'mier's calmness, Naezon's charm, and Kaizen's anger make them a dangerous combination, and once they set their minds on something, they don't stop until somebody makes them. With senior year coming to an end, the boys find themselves getting involved in situations bigger than they've ever faced before, proving that sometimes the biggest threat to your future is yourself. As if the streets, their families, and their own bad decisions weren't enough, the boys have problems of their own to deal with. D'mier can't seem to take his eyes off Jhyzir, a loud, messy drama magnet who somehow catches his attention despite being everything he normally avoids. Kaizen finds himself constantly clashing with Aasair, one of the only people willing to stand up to him and refuse his disrespect. And Naezon? While he's busy acting like he has everything under control, a baby is on the way and the reality of becoming a father is getting harder and harder to ignore. As pressure builds from every direction, the three cousins are forced to face something they've spent their whole lives running from: responsibility.
