So one day when they wake up in front of a big screen and being told they would hear about the life of The Girl-Who-Lived, the Most Powerful Witch of Her Age, Second Generation Marauder, Descendant of Death-Hemlock Potter, how do the gods and demigods react when they find out Sally and Hemlock are the same person and therefore Percy has a bit more godly blood than he thought-and why is one of his mother's magic buddies calling him a human thestral? Harry Potter was born one minute before midnight-quiet, delicate, and so easily overlooked beside his shining twin brother, Sorran, the Boy Who Lived. But when his first tail appears on his first birthday, the world starts to shift. Eleven birthdays. Eleven elemental tails. A magical school. A slightly mischievous fox-boy. Oh, and seven very curious girls who think he's a girl at first. Hogwarts has no idea what's coming. (BTW, I do not own Harry Potter. Got that? Good.)

Harry cried himself to sleep in his cupboard, the cleaning supplies taking up most of the space, there was no comfortable position for him to be in, both because of the cramped space, and the smarting cuts and aching bruises covering him. The stool he was standing on had slipped, causing him to fall face first into the side by the sink, spilling the soapy water on the floor, and making his lip bleed as he accidentally bit his lip badly. That alone would have been enough for him to be hurting, but he hadn't managed to clean up the water on the floor, or even knew he had left blood on the counter that he had to deal with, when Vernon came home. Harry had had no hope of fixing the stool he had been standing on though, no matter how much time he had been given. Harry had given up hope by now that he would ever be happy with the Dursleys, and had learnt how little he could disturb the water without repercussions, but he had yet to give up hope that someone would come to take him away. He would sometimes have dreams of a man who was covered in scars who would always come with a man who could turn into a dog, and sometimes with a flying motorbike, but he would get punished if he said anything to the Dursleys about his dreams, although sometimes he would slip up. He felt a sudden warmth, then he was in a bright, beautiful place. He could only assume he was dreaming because he had never been anywhere like this before, and it seemed far too nice to be somewhere he should be allowed to be. ----- Harry's accidental magic was powerful enough to do what was impossible, to turn back time without a timeturner. James had always wanted to be a father, and when his child came out of nowhere he decided that it didn't matter to him if the boy's mother didn't want to be involved with him or the child they had in at least one future, he was going to raise this child with love and he was never going to send him back. Harry finally gets a life where he's well loved.

What should have been a miserable hike turns into a brush with danger that plants something dark and sharp inside Harry: the thrill of survival. When Hogwarts throws the students into a surprise "survival exercise" in the Forbidden Forest, Harry doesn't panic like the rest - he hunts. Cold, calculating, and unexpectedly ruthless, Harry learns quickly that numbers mean weakness, predictability means defeat, and allies are tools to be used or discarded. Neville becomes bait. Groups crumble in the fog. And Malfoy? Malfoy becomes the perfect target. Survival isn't about luck or rules. It's about control. And once you've tasted that power, you never let it go. A WBWL Story

Harry Potter is about to go to Hogwarts and everyone is getting riled up, booking hotels a week in advance of his birthday, just to catch a glimpse of him shopping for his school supplies. Harry however does not wish to be the little unknowing child they all think he'll be, leaving them all in shock as he heads through life with his head held high and a supporting family by his side. In this story Harry is smart, the Dursleys are nice and mischievous, loving pranks. He does not end up in Gryffindor, and already knows about the magical world.
