When Link and Zelda venture under the castle, they find a corrupted Link. After a quick battle, Link is defeated and Ganondorf awakens. Pushing Zelda out of the way, Link falls into the void. With Link gone, who is there to protect Hyrule? Lookout landing is constantly under attack from Dark Link's legion of monsters. Many lives are lost. Hyrule is barely staying alive. With Dark Link on the attack and Ganondorf growing in power, there's nothing left to do but hold out for a Hero. Retelling of TOTK with a few plot twists of my own.
