Book 1 of the Accardi series Please read the trigger warnings ~ 𝐃𝐞𝐥𝐢𝐥𝐚𝐡 𝐃𝐚𝐯𝐢𝐬, a sweet 18 year old girl who's endured years upon years of abuse from her father and his friends. The night of her 18th birthday she's finally able to escape, but while walking the streets of New York she has no idea where to go. So she ends up in an alleyway, finding Lorenzo but is terrified at what she witnesses. 𝐋𝐨𝐫𝐞𝐧𝐳𝐨 𝐀𝐜𝐜𝐚𝐫𝐝𝐢 is a 21 year old, supposedly ruthless mafia leader. Many fear him, but deep down he's a sweetheart. Delilah's the one who gets him out of this ruthless exterior he puts on. When he meets Delilah, he knows something is up from the start and wants to know what. But Delilah struggles to trust him after everything she went through and what she witnessed him do. She just wanted to get away from her old life, running away was the best option. He just happened to be doing one of the many things mafia boss's do the same night she ran away. Neither of them expected this. ~ She's too distracted while I continue to kiss her neck to even notice me taking out my phone, quickly taking a picture of us. I don't notice the flash being on, so she notices me taking the picture and pushes me away jokingly. "Delete that!" she begs. "And why should I do that?" I'm definitely keeping this picture. "I look horrible right now!" That's a load of shit. The thing is, whenever she thinks that she looks horrible is when she looks her best. But she also always looks her best. My effortlessly pretty girl. "You do not. Del, you're always the most beautiful person around, stop talking that nonsense." She blushes, again. She blushes so easily, I love it.

Aaliyah Johnson is in her final year at Magnolia State University, where she's balancing a scholarship, an art degree, and the pressure of not knowing what comes next. Elias Carter, the university's baseball captain, seems to have everything figured out, except his own heart. When mutual friends and a poetry club bring them together, sparks ignite in the most unexpected ways. She's brilliant and blunt; he's disciplined and mysterious. But between classes, practices, and the expectations of everyone around them, connection becomes the one thing they can't plan for. From strangers to friends to something far deeper, their story grows with every season, rooted beneath a magnolia tree that sees it all. Autumn brings sparks: "I'm curious about you, but I don't even know why yet." Winter, closeness: "You calm me when I didn't realise I needed calming." Spring, love: "I've known for a while... I just didn't want to ruin it." Summer, uncertainty: "Even if everything changes, you've changed me already." COMPLETE !! "What would you do if I die?" "Die." "Oh you would die?" I mumble and he nods giving me a small smile. "What would you do if I die?" He repeats my question. "Live." He frowns and I internally evil laugh at myself. That was a good one. ✧・゚: *✧・゚:* ✧・゚: *✧・゚:* Adelia Collins was a talkative girl always in the mood for friends and Zeke Miller just happened to be there at the right time. Her bubbly personality, weird obsession with marvel, and stupid jokes enlightening his mood and fitting perfectly with his uncommunicative behaviour. No one would've expected it, but they understood each in a perfect, unusual way. She was funny and kind to everyone. He was rude and dull to everyone. Well, everyone except her. ✧・゚: *✧・゚:* ✧・゚: *✧・゚:* HIGHEST RANKS- #1 in goodgirl #1 in innocent #1 in cold #1 in heartfelt #1 in sweetheart #1 in attraction #2 in opposites #2 in cliche #4 in humour ✧・゚: *✧・゚:* ✧・゚: *✧・゚:* Adelia Collins wanted someone to match marvel sweatshirts with, but she didn't expect to come across a wealthy family who did dangerous things for living. Zeke Miller wanted a quiet day to observe, not meaning to contain a conversation with a weird girl at a cafe. But why did he come back? Why did he make her a friend? ✧・゚: *✧・゚:* ✧・゚: *✧・゚:* "Darling?" "Yes?" "Do you love me?" "Always. Why?" "Just making sure," ✧・゚: *✧・゚:* ✧・゚: *✧・゚:* Are these two going to get a happy ending? ~~~ 𝘼+𝙕? ~~~ *𝙒𝙖𝙧𝙣𝙞𝙣𝙜 * This story is rough around the edges in the beginning chapters and will hopefully get better. This story contains mature themes (language, scenes, self-harm, etc.)
