Everyone in Rosecrest College knew William Hale. Tall, muscular, always wearing that bored, confident smirk. A 6-foot wall of arrogance wrapped in expensive perfumes and designer jackets. William loved it. He needed it. Because at home... attention was currency and affection didn't exist. His parents treated him like an investment, not a son. So he learned early: Don't get attached. Don't care. Don't feel. And he didn't - until him. Slim, quiet, soft-spoken, always hugging textbooks to his chest, messy hair, oversized sweaters, and the kind of gentle smile that made people feel warm without even realizing why. Est liked being invisible. Attention meant danger. Affection meant someone might notice how different he was. His mother raised him alone after his father went to jail for violence. He still flinched whenever someone raised their voice. He believed Alphas were unpredictable... dangerous...unwanted. But sometimes, late at night, when his nature whispered for warmth and safety, Est hated himself for wishing for something he had sworn he'd never want.

Est has loved William quietly for years-through every smile, every late-night conversation, and every moment William treated him like home without ever realizing what he truly was to him. To William, Est is his best friend. His constant. The one person who never leaves. To Est, William is everything... even if he was never truly his. When Est gets the chance to leave for his Master's abroad, he finally decides to tell William the truth. But timing has never been on his side. A missed meeting. A broken promise. A confession left unread. And when William finally understands what Est meant to him, it's already too late. Because Est has already left. And some goodbyes don't get a second chance.

William Kitisakul is a man of logic and cold business acumen-he views emotions as liabilities and marriage as a trap. When his mother, Rin, emotionally blackmails him into an arranged marriage with a young man named Est, William is convinced it is nothing more than a calculated grab for his family's wealth by a greedy family. But William has no idea that the "fragile" boy he is being forced to marry is living a life of quiet terror, surviving daily abuse and starvation at the hands of an aunt and uncle who treat him like a servant. As two worlds collide-one defined by cold, sterile luxury and the other by hidden, desperate survival-the cracks in William's armor begin to show. He is walking into a life-altering encounter, unaware that he isn't being led into a trap, but toward the only person who might save him from his own hollow existence. When two extremely wealthy families arrange a marriage between their sons, William takes it as a sign from the universe (after much emotional crisis), finally-a chance to make Est see him as something other than "that chaotic kid who breaks things at parties." His attempts at flirting? Disastrous. His attempts at acting cool? Catastrophic. Est, with his quiet humor and unreadable expression, only makes it worse by occasionally dropping a teasing comment that sends William straight into meltdown mode. But somewhere between the shared breakfasts, evening talks, and accidental hand brushes, their relationship shifts. The moon begins to notice his sun-and the sun learns that the moon has been watching him all along. A slow-blooming arranged-marriage romance full of warmth, gentle comedy, heart-softening surprises, and a slight slice-of-life angst. Because why not?
