Serenity Hutter is the younger sister of Thomas Hutter. She goes to her brother's house to keep her sister-in-law company while he's at work; learning that his boss wants to send him away to a distant land, to take care of a sale of a home that a client from the distant land purchased. While her brother is away, and Serenity is behind with Ellen, checking in every once in a while. Though the longer that Thomas is gone, and the closer the stranger gets, the more Serenity feels plagued by the same being that is plaguing Ellen. Will Thomas be able to save both his wife and his sister, or will his wife or sister fall victim to the mysterious darkness that is plaguing them.

Will they be able to stop Mr. Tophat, or will they too fall victim to the carnival like many others, including the mysterious woman helping them?
