In which a detective asks to return to patrol work, the reason unknown to anyone. Madison "Maddy" Hale was a detective. She graduated the academy with Tim Bradford, he remembers her as someone who was almost too focused on becoming a detective; so imagine his shock when she returns. Maddy works through her fears, determined to become the best patrol officer she can be. She's avoiding facing her fears of being a detective again.
