18+ ONLY. This story contains mature themes and explicit smut. Read at your own risk. Contentedly single and successful at 30, Lingling has built her perfect life after overcoming hardship. Marriage? No thanks. Dating? A nuisance her meddling best friends keep forcing on her (as she's the only single person left in her group of friends). She just wants to support them, especially Lookmhee on her wedding day. But fate-and maybe Lookmhee-has other plans, leading to a clumsy bouquet standoff with a captivating ash-blonde woman. Lingling thinks she's escaped the matchmaking trap, only to agree to babysit Lookmhee's cousin... who turns out to be the very same woman she accidentally fought over flowers with. Maybe fate, and her best friends, know best after all? A/N: So, I began writing this story while in Thailand last week. It's my first trip out of the country (where I'm residing) and I was writing this because I was a bit disappointed when I couldn't see any LingOrm billboard ads during my first day (only saw one, the Ichitan one in Chiangmai and it was my last day) 🤧 So yeah, to make myself better, I wrote this out of nowhere but it's still unfinished...though I plan to continue writing this but no idea how this story will turn out. The story is typical but yeah I was needing distraction at that moment so I didn't really care. Anyway, I should prolly stop being a silent fan and meet other JKRs so I knew where to spot LingOrm ads the next time I'll travel back to Thailand HAHA.

Lingling Kwong has it all-beauty, success, and elegance. At thirty, she's built Kwong Fine Dine into one of the most prestigious restaurants in the city, yet her heart remains untouched. Despite her wealth, Ling lives with quiet humility, her life as polished and serene as the wine glasses she sets on her tables. Then comes Orm Korn. Loud, reckless, and untamed, the twenty-three-year-old troublemaker bursts into Ling's calm world on the night of her own birthday. With her boyish charm, amber eyes that gleam with mischief, and a laugh that demands attention, Orm is everything Ling isn't-and everything Ling can't seem to resist. What starts as playful banter quickly deepens into stolen glances, lingering touches, and the kind of late-night confessions that blur the line between danger and desire. Ling falls for Orm's raw honesty, believing in the passion she sees beneath the chaos. But Orm carries a secret-one that began as a cruel bet with her friends: make Ling fall, take her riches, and walk away. What Orm never expected was to fall too-deeper and harder than she ever thought possible. When the truth shatters Ling's heart, will Orm prove she's more than the reckless girl who started it all? Or is love too fragile to survive betrayal? A story of temptation, heartbreak, and the kind of love that tests every boundary.
