Ethan Wright knows what's right and what's wrong. Homosexuality is wrong to him, but then, given the background he's coming (or, more precisely, running) from, he could hardly have formed a different opinion. He doesn't allow it to affect his actions, though. He is a firefighter, and he saves lives no matter how people choose to live them. There's just that one guy that he can't quite get out of his head. The guy that circumstances keep putting in his way. The guy that makes him feel... he's not sure, how. There's not much time for him to figure that out, for his past is about to catch up with him, putting more than just his life in danger, forcing him to face uncomfortable truths and make life-changing decisions. #1 in BXB on 2022-10-01 #2 in MANXMAN on 2022-10-01 *** WARNINGS: The story contains mature themes and language. Not suitable for children. Some chapters include violent and sexual content and may be triggering for some people. Read at your own discretion. Also, the main character is pretty homophobic in the beginning of the story. Needless to say, he'll change ;) yet if you find such a start too upsetting, you might want to skip this book. -------------------------------------------------- Dear Reader, I hope you'll enjoy this story! When the resident villain Antennes found the hero NightHawk unconscious after their latest fight, he did what any villain would do, and took the opportunity to capture the hero. He expected the hero to fight back, lash out, probably kick his butt and escape, but he DIDN'T expect to find the hero wrapped snuggly in his cape, looking warm and adorable. Oh wow, was it warm in here? No actually, it was pretty cold, so why was his face hot? And WHY was his heart feeling like it was about to explode? You know what, he was just gonna let the hero go. This was too much. Now add in another psychotic villain bent on killing NightHawk, and things just get ridiculous.

"The boy suddenly looked up, his perfectly black eyes meeting mine. I knew, at least aesthetically, we were already opposites. His eyes were black and mine were blue; his hair was thick and long, mine was thin and short; he wore all black, I wore bright colors. But in his eyes, I saw the same thing I see every morning. I saw a certain weight I could never describe. A certain tiredness that can't be fixed with sleep. He kept looking at me and I kept looking back at him and neither of us blinked and neither of us spoke and neither of us moved. His head tilted ever so slightly I doubted it even happened. His eyes flashed something quick and familiar and I felt my eyes widen and my neck burn and my hands suddenly fighting against my body to reach out." .................. Rex doesn't have much of a social circle or a family or a connection to real life. He just does what he has to in order to survive. He studies to graduate high school on time and he smiles to get through the day, but for so long, he's done it all alone. He just wants someone to share little moments with, someone who will listen to him and stick around. After getting stuck in a blizzard, Rex meets Matteo. Matteo who doesn't talk much. Matteo who doesn't smile much. Matteo who is nothing like anything Rex has known. Slowly, those little moments Rex used to wish someone else could exist in with him, start becoming the big moments. The big moments lived in by both Rex and Matteo. ..................

♱ WHEN LOVE REFUSES TO STAY DEAD ♱ Felix Harper, an indie filmmaker with his career on the rise, has always processed grief through horror. His new project is no different: an intimate retelling of Dracula meant to exorcise feelings he'd prefer to see dead and buried. But in his search for the perfect lead actor, the person he's least expected to see again walks into the audition room. Raphael Montrose is Felix's ex-best friend, the person who once knew him better than anyone. The person he hasn't spoken to in years, not since Felix sacrificed their friendship in a desperate attempt to protect what he loved. The person who still makes Felix's heart beat in his throat. Casting him would go against any sort of common sense. But when it comes to Raphael, Felix has never had any. As the two navigate filming a potential cult classic and rebuilding the fragile trust between them, old feelings resurface and the lines between past and present, performance and reality begin to blur. But when the ghosts of their past return to haunt, will they be able to face them, or will they be forced to bury their feelings for good? For readers who enjoyed If We Were Villains and The Picture of Dorian Gray, a gothic second chance/friends-to-lovers romance spanning years of yearning, tenderness, betrayal and artistic obsession. ♱ cover by the amazing @raizelrose3

Elijah is surviving though the last year of high school the only way he knows how. By working hard, hiding his obsessive compulsive disorder, and keeping social interaction to a minimum. His plan was working until a certain Ryan Stone, the most feared boy in school, decides he needs Elijah's help to pass his English class. As they get to know more about one another, an unlikely friendship develops and feelings start to emerge that neither were prepared for. Indifference may have been the theme of the English project that brought them together, but it also might very well be the thing that tears them apart too.
