When Adalyn Day and Alessandro Perillo were in 6th grade, they had a deal. Ada, certain Alessandro would never get a girlfriend promised him 5 dollars if he got one by the end of senior year. They put it on their calendars and promised never to erase it. Senior year rolls around and both forgot about the deal, Alessandro is now a heartless player and Ada is an ordinary teenage girl, but in the beginning of senior year, they both get the same notification.
