Acelin Portgas is a lot of things. Fierce, confident, strongminded. And fucking annoying. At least, that's what Xaden Riorson thinks. OC x XadenRiorson

FOURTH WING AU | XADEN RIORSON × Fem OC Lilia Sorrengail has spent most of her life becoming exactly what everyone expects her to be. A rider. A weapon. A daughter worthy of the Sorrengail name. By the time she reaches Basgiath, she already knows how to hide pain, follow orders without appearing obedient, and survive beneath the weight of expectations that were never hers to choose. What no one knows is that Lilia did not enter the Riders Quadrant for honour, glory, or the chance to wear black. She came looking for answers. Then Violet is forced onto the parapet beside her, and Lilia's carefully laid plans begin to fracture. Survival is no longer only about making it through the next trial. It is about keeping her sister alive, guarding truths that cannot be spoken, and making certain no one looks closely enough to realise how much she already knows. Especially Xaden Riorson. He has every reason to hate her name, every reason to distrust her motives, and far too much power to ignore. To Xaden, Lilia should be easy to understand: the general's daughter, a trained rider, and another Sorrengail standing on the wrong side of an old war. Little does he know, Lilia has a few carefully guarded secrets of her own. At Basgiath, dragons judge more than strength. Enemies are not always who they appear to be. And some truths are dangerous enough to change everything. The closer Lilia gets to Xaden, the harder it becomes to tell whether he is the greatest threat to her secrets - or the only person who might understand why she keeps them.

Alina Valoria once believed in the goodness of the world-believed in friendship, in faith, and in a future filled with warmth and safety. She believed in him too-the boy she was never meant to love, her brother's best friend, the one her heart chose long before she understood the cost. But war has a way of turning belief into ash. When war and tragedy tore her from her family and the boy she loved, Alina learned how merciless the world could be. How a heart can shatter quietly and still be forced to carry on. How someone raised to shine with hope can be remade by grief and survival. She vowed never to depend on anyone but herself again. Entering the Riders Quadrant to honor her family's legacy, Alina expected hardship, loss, and the brutal truth of war. What she didn't expect was to face everything she once mourned as if it had died-alive again, altered by war, and no longer the people she remembers. Time and battle carve new versions of us, and not all of them survive with their humanity intact. Least of all the boy she once loved. Within a kingdom trembling under ancient prophecies and the truth of fables, Alina finds herself caught between duty, faith, and a fate whispered about since before she was born. Here, loyalty can ruin, love can destroy, and belief is a dangerous thing to hold. As the gods turn their gaze back to the mortal world, Alina must decide which pieces of herself she is willing to sacrifice-and what she will fight to protect, even against destiny itself. This is a story of war, faith, and forbidden love-of a girl hardened by fate and a boy forged by loss, bound to a prophecy that could save their world... or end it.

Before they became legends, they were children. Xaden Riorson and Iskra Eagledare grew up side by side beneath the mountains of Tyrrendor - best friends, partners in trouble, and the first person the other always looked for in a crowded room. Then the world ended. When the rebellion falls, and their parents are executed before their eyes, an entire generation of children is forced to inherit a war they never asked for. Branded by dragonfire and marked by loss, they must learn to survive in a kingdom determined to break them. But some things refuse to die. Not loyalty. Not hope. And not the bond between two people who chose each other long before they understood what love was. From childhood promises and stolen moments to rebellion, war, and destiny, this is the story of the generation that came before the revolution - and the love that survived it. Because the rebellion didn't die with their parents. It lived on in their children.

Going to Basgiath was the same for everyone, a death sentence for most, something that Rowyn Ryder understood very well. But she was trained by the best-or at least the best her small town had seen in generations-so there was no way that she was dying. At least she thought so. On top of the Riders Quadrant trying to kill her everyday, she has to find away to not by the hands of a fellow cadet, all because of a vendetta against her dead brother. Despite her decision to not fall in love with anyone while at Basgiath, she does just that, but finds that being in love is just as dangerous as facing a dragon. There are lies and betrayals and Rowyn still has to make it to formation in the morning. There is not much she can do but take the punches as they land. But does she have the strength to do so, or will she end up like every other eager cadet? Dead and everything they owned burned.

"My father never talked a lot. He just took a walk around the block. 'Til all his anger took a hold of him. And then he'd hit. Scattered 'cross my family line. I'm so good at telling lies. That came from my mother's side. Told a million to survive. I watch the fathers with their little girls. And wonder what I did to deserve this. How could you hurt a little kid? I can't forget, I can't forgive you. 'Cause now I'm scared that everyone I love will leave me." Fourth Wing Garrick Tavis x OC x Bodhi Durran

When Basgiath's commanding general gives an order, you don't question it, you obey. Oleander Sorrengail was meant for the Healers Quadrant. But six months before enlistment, she and her twin sister Violet are forced to abandon their paths and enter the Riders Quadrant instead-where survival is earned in blood, and most don't make it past their first year. Everyone else has trained their entire lives for this. Oleander hasn't. So she makes a choice: she won't fight to survive. She'll fight to make sure Violet does. Because when this is over, only one of them needs to live. And no one is going to miss the spare. This is a Fourth Wing fanfic intended for audiences 18+ due to mature content.
