Since the death of both sets of her parents, Fynnith has lived far to the northwest, in the orcish fighting pits of Argul Kar after being taken as a prisoner when just a child. Having survived as the most feared fighter in the pits for over a dozen years, her mental health has increasingly deteriorated to the point where she is constantly hearing a voice in her head telling her to break out of the stone cell she sleeps in between fights, as she had a destiny to fulfill. After blacking out when the voice finally got too loud, she wakes up on a dirt road in a land she doesn't recognize. With an uncertain future, she looks to restart her life, not knowing that events beyond her knowledge have already started to move in ways that will force her to fight for things that the fighting pits never could have prepared her for. After all, a battle for love isn't always as direct as that with a sword. Or, maybe it is? TW: People will die, blood will spill, and there may be a little smut (if you're lucky!)

Celeste closed the space between us, hand pressing against the tender spot she'd marked last night. I gasped. "That's mine," she whispered, fingers teasing possessively. "Every inch of your body... belongs to me." Her lips trailed my jaw, voice rough. "I want you trembling again. Want you to remember my name-every time someone even tries to look at you" Then her voice dropped, velvety and dark like smoke curling around my skin. "If I can't have you, no one can." ------------------------------------------------------- At twenty-six, Riley thought she knew what to expect from corporate life-long hours, endless revisions, and a boss who'd probably forget her name. She didn't expect Celeste Leclair. Sharp, stunning, and almost mythically untouchable, Celeste runs Leclair & Vale like a perfectly calibrated machine. She doesn't make small talk. She doesn't make mistakes. And she definitely doesn't do feelings. To Celeste, Riley is just another junior analyst. Until the day she isn't.

Aurora Kensington has spent years trying to silence the voice in her head-the one that sounds too much like Briar Holloway. The girl who was once her best friend. The girl who came out to her. The girl she pushed away. Now eighteen, Aurora is desperate to prove she's everything she's supposed to be: a good daughter, a devoted Catholic, normal. But no matter how hard she prays, no matter how many rules she follows, she can't shake the feeling that something inside her is broken. And when she sees the lights on in the Holloway house for the first time in years, something deep in her chest stirs. She doesn't know Briar is back. Not until she turns around at a party and finds her standing there. Briar never planned to return to Chapelwood, but with her family drowning in debt and her grandmother's health failing, she had no choice. She tells herself she doesn't care about Aurora anymore-that she only came to this party because she thought it'd be funny. But the second their eyes meet, the past slams into her like a tremor. Old wounds. Old feelings. Ones that never truly faded. Because "love" (if you can call it that) like theirs doesn't disappear. It fractures. It festers. It trembles under the weight of everything unsaid. And if they're not careful, it might just swallow them whole. But none of it truly matters anyway. Not unless Aurora is willing to face the truth about herself. A story about love, sin, and the thin line between devotion and obsession.
