"I never thought she would jump. She never had the reason to." When the popular, intelligent and pretty Kobayashi Rui takes her own life by jumping in front of a metro train, a sophomore girl; Minase is unable to shake the feeling that Rui was killed instead. Her death just didn't make sense, even to a forensic studies student like her. Mere days after the fateful incident; when Minase is taking the subway home, she hears Rui's voice from the lone telephone booth- except no one is there. Every time she stepped onto that platform, she would hear snippets of Rui's voice as well as conversations playing from the hung up telephone, but no one else seems to be able to hear it. Over time, the snippets of conversation turn to pleas for help, distorted screams and recordings of Rui's last moments, revealing ugly truths one after another. The whole city is changing; crows perch everywhere in Kyoto, along with supernatural happenings that shouldn't be there. Minase sets off to find out Rui's killer before it's too late, except now, her fate is too far down the twisted path to easily steer away.

Ali loved her brother and they had a great bond though they did grow distant over time however when her brother died from an unknown disease she started wondering whether everyone would have prefered her dead instead so she begins acting like her brother and putting on his clothes as well as cutting her hair and when her mother finds out and chooses to encourage her to continue she does what happens when she finds a mysterious note in her brothers coat she's now grappling to figure out if that's really how he died.

Anirudh's eyes narrow slightly, his expression querying, "What have you got Prateek?", he asks the scientist. Prateek replies that, We found no fingerprints, but the organs of the boy are totally damaged and there is a slight fungus formed on the skin, even the body is so cold. So, what I finally say is that, the boy was killed before 15-16 days. Listening to this Anirudh's eyes widened, his heart beating swiftly as he didn't expect this.
