In the twilight of their careers, and desperate to extend them however possible, the Chipmunks and Chipettes reluctantly agree to a deal with NASA to man a mission to the planet Mars. What they hope for is an increase in popularity; a reason for people to cheer for them again. There is no way for any of them to predict the complications, lies, secrets, and threats that they will encounter before they can safely return home.
