Ooh, such an original title (-.-) My first Gelphie fic (AU)! Enter the land of Oz with Galinda and Elphaba as they figure out their mixed feelings towards one another. But it doesn't stop there, no.. Read along as they face life-or-death situations, and almost lose one another in this twisted fiction.

I want to get back into writing, but it's a slow process of finding the motivation. This gives me space to take my time and find joy in it again. This is meant to be a companion/continuation to my story Watching Over You, but I think it can be read separately as well. A recap: Elphaba ends up in the hospital and slowly falls for Glinda, a nurse there. Glinda catches feelings as well but has a hard time dealing with them. In the end when Elphaba gets discharged, they agree to write to each other, and there is a promise of a first date when the time comes that they can be together again..

After a failed spell leaves Elphaba in the hospital, she's cared for by Glinda, a student nurse who brings unexpected warmth and comfort. As Elphaba grows closer to Glinda, she begins to question her feelings and whether her stay is about recovery or something more. Both women must confront their emotions and the connection between them.
