Now there is only The Ark, which is slowly running out of oxygen. Although the earth is said to need another four generations to pass to become survivable again, The Ark doesn't have a choice. As an experiment they send a hundred juvenile delinquents to the ground. When they reach the ground they find out their problem isn't radiation. Alexandra Morgan, one of the hundred sent down, soon finds herself and two others in charge when all communication is lost with The Ark. As many problems arise, Alexandra begins to become close with the guy who should be her enemy, Bellamy Blake and grow apart from her best friend, John Murphy.
