Tho love of link and zelda was unheard of. They never seemed the type. She hated him and he treated her as a burden, but somehow it happened. Sudden and real. Link is injured fighting a Lynel on Ploymus Mountain, and he retreats to Rito Village for care. The hero may struggle with his words, but he still has friends he can always turn to when he needs help.

There was a before the Calamity, the little things that were seen, felt, and said that Legends don't tell. There was a during the Calamity, where truths are told as death wishes and secrets are taken to the grave. There is an after the Calamity, where wrongs are righted and a fresh start is made. But tragedy seems to follow the Princess and the Hero where they go throughout the ages, and this age is no exception. ⚔ The first installment of the Between Them series. In which Link and Zelda meet, and try to get through the Great Calamity together.

School rivalries run deep. Championship games, fights in the bleachers, and bad blood that's been brewing for decades. Link is the star basketball player at Hateno High School. Many see him and think he is simply a talented individual who hasn't seen a bit of struggle or a hard day in his life. Everyone knows of Link, the Hylian Champion who will fight along with the four other Champions against Calamity Ganon, but does anyone know how Link came to be that great Hylian Champion in the first place? This is my head-cannon story of BOTW Link's childhood and life before becoming Zelda's appointed knight. It is not cannon from Nintendo, and you can't prove it right, but you can't prove it wrong either! The Legend of Zelda and most of the main characters are owned by Nintendo, but the actual story and some of the other main characters comes from my imagination.
