Four hapless college roommates decide to hire a cleaning lady. When a beautiful young woman shows up, hilarity ensues. --- It chick lit from a male POV. It's trash... but then you keep reading and you're like: wait.. is this kinda good? It's pretty funny. You will likely laugh at some point. If you're thinking you've seen this story before, you may have seen it on my throwaway account... but I've decided I don't mind associating myself with this story after all. So here it is on my main. (The only feedback I'm looking for on this story will be in the form of praise as it is something I don't actually tale seriously at all lol. )

The gods have no pity for humans and their impermanence. Why would they care for lives measured in years, when time marches into millennia for them? The immortals stay in their city. The humans remain in their parts of the world. That is until a human terrorist group gains control over the Goddess of Death, forcing her to kill their enemies and increase their power. All immortals keep their backs turned on humanity. Except Samil, the God of Festivals and the Arts. Samil knows he isn't very powerful among his kind. Or important. Or confident. Yet, when he learns that the humans are desperate, he chooses to do a deceptively simple thing: Help them. ___________________________________ @Voyageavecmoi was kind enough to write this review of my book and she described it 100x better than I ever could lol. With her permission, I'm posting it below. Also, check out her book "Flight Risk." It's a sweet and deep romance about two characters negotiating their feelings for each other while life is doing everything to tear them apart. The characters have such mature conversations and, there's no reliance on the miscommunication trope at all. I'm *obsessed.* If you enjoy intriguing fantasy novels with deep and thoughtful themes, check out 'The Gifts of Mortality' by @eleanorkennedy14 . It explores the concept of mortality and how it gives life meaning through the eyes of both gods and humans. The story follows Samil, the god of the Festivals and the Arts, who is shocked by the apathy of his fellow gods when a human terrorist group gains control over the Goddess of Death. Despite finding no support among his kind, he's determined to help the humans, which sets him down an interesting course. There are lots of great twists in this novel, and I also loved seeing how queerness was worked in throughout both the immortal and mortal realms. Samil is a sweet and refreshing character to root for who is determined to see the good in the world.

In 2123, being a Pro Hero is the dream for a majority of the world. Who wouldn't want to get paid to save hot girls AND be a celebrity? Leo Lambert, that's who. Sure, he's got a Gift, and yeah, he's got a knack for saving people. But Leo would rather keep his head down and mouth running than play nice for the press. It's too bad for him that his instincts don't believe in having an easy life. After being (illegally?) drafted by an Underground Pro, he's neck-deep in a conspiracy no one wants to talk about; chasing down missing kids while the people in charge look the other way. His mentor is hiding something, and the villains are hiding in plain sight. He just didn't expect them to be wearing the very same capes he looked up to. --- What to Expect: - Sarcastic but emotionally vulnerable MC - Power system with social consequences - Fast-paced action and character-driven drama - Found family - Heavy themes: identity, justice, trauma, and self-worth - LGBTQ+ rep - Manga/anime tone with a Western twist

*New chapter every Saturday!* There is a moment of tenuous peace in Terra Solara, so named after the god Solarius, the Radiant King. It is said that it was he who transmitted the warmth of life to the first humans, his first and most loyal followers, who were the founders of his religion, the Cult of the Eternal Sun. These, however, did everything they could to extinguish the warmth of life in other people for their own gain, political ascension, religion or even their own pleasure, so that seven petty kingdoms emerged from a single continent. Any notion of peace is quickly forgotten when there is constant political and religious intrigue in every kingdom. Even if one tries to avoid participating in confrontations, confrontations have a tendency to bring people together.
