All Florence knows is the pine forest, her cottage where she lives in the snowy-covered plains, the constant visions she has, and her small family. Her mother believes that Florence is different from her younger sister, and to protect her daughters they must all stay inside the walls that seperate them from the rest of Earth: as they have no choice. But it all changes the day she meets Teddy, a boy from the human race. Who lives on the other side of the wall. Deep in their friendship, he helps her gain the freedom she wants: by telling her to come to his side.
