Natsu moved closer and hugged her, pressing her face to his chest as he pet her hair and rubbed her back simultaneously. Although, since they were lying together, they were really just cuddling. He'd never admit that though. Natsu broke the momentary spell of silence. He began, "Luce... I don't know what to say. I know you were scared earlier. But that's why I'm here. I'll always save you Luce. Always." He held her a little tighter. Almost, afraid to let go of her it seemed. She pulled away a bit, looking up at him with tears in her eyes. "Always?" "Always." She stuck her hand out and he smiled brightly, wrapping his pinky around hers, sealing a pinky promise. Which Natsu swore he'd never break.
