this is a juke story. it takes place right after season 1 ends so if you haven't watched it yet beware of the spoilers. this story contains some cursing words and some smut but with not many details. enjoy.

My take of the second season of Julie and the Phantoms.

4 Elements, 4 Nations. They all have been living peacefully together, but 2 houses from different elements couldn't argue any less. The House of the Water Chief and the House of the Fire King. Everyone knew of their bitter rivalry, but it wasn't always like this. One day, Julie Molina, the water princess, was alone near her favorite lake to train until she met Luke Patterson, the fire prince. What neither of them expected was them doing the one thing they weren't supposed to do: falling in love with a different element. Both Julie and Luke have to navigate the struggles of hiding a relationship and make sure no one, not even the Element King and their parents, knows about them while also competing in the Annual Battle of the Elements. Will they prevail and convince everyone to change the rules, or will they fail and be apart?

"I don't understand. Why can't you admit it? "Because you are supposed to marry someone else!" "I DON'T CARE! I never even wanted to get married." "But -" "Do you love me? "What?" "Do you love me? Yes or no." ___________________________________________________ Luke is the son of the Captain of the Royal Guard, and he and his friends are assigned to take the Princess to another kingdom for an arranged marriage. The downside to this is that no one had seen her face, and no one knows anything about the princess. Rumors began to spread, giving Luke very bad thoughts of the princess. Julie is the Princess of Valdronia and is arranged to be married by the son of the neighboring kingdom. She never wanted to get married, but she had to keep the peace in her kingdom. But during the journey, she had her eyes on the Captain of the Guard's son. They didn't get along at first, but over time, they began to enjoy each other's company. What they didn't know was that there was a dark force awaiting them in the Kingdom of Devontae. Will the lovers have their happy ending, or will they be separated forever?

After an alarming incident, Julie's dad (the King), assigned her and Carlos each a knight to keep them safe for the first time in their lives. Carlos is fine with it, but Julie is not exactly thrilled with having a strange brooding boy follow her everywhere- especially when she's still trying to find her place in the kingdom after the death of her mom. It's not easy to figure out who you are and pick up pieces of who you were when someone is breathing down your neck, and she makes sure Luke and her dad (the King) know how how she feels. Her dad (the King), won't budge and lets Luke keep his post despite all of Julie's efforts to get him sent away. Although this creates a definitive tension between them, there is no denying that some people are just signs sent from those who have left us. #1 in #Juke on 8/10/21 #1 in #JulieMolina on 11/9/22
