James Potter and Lily Evans are about to start their sixth year at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. These two Gryffindors have never exactly seen eye to eye, but with the growing threat of Voldemort and his supporters, things at Hogwarts are changing. What will this mean for the Marauders and their friends? Could love be blossoming in the midst of danger?

Summary: This story goes between the Christmas break of James Potter and Lily Evans' sixth year at Hogwarts to their seventh year, and it is basically just because I ship Jily so much it's just not funny anymore. Lily and James become closer and Lily finds herself falling in love with the toe-rag. Disclaimer: I DO NOT own Harry Potter. He was everything she hated about guys: Cocky, arrogant, a pain in the neck, and a troublemaker. But what if there's more than to James than all of that. Lily finds an unlikely friend and that carries a burden heavier than most. Just how long can this friendship truly last before it becomes something more? War is coming and with betrayals and loss, can love really be found? Before you read: This is more of a marauders fan fiction.
